The Outback Crab Shack
If you've never been to the Outback Crab Shack before, it's worth a trip. It is definitely a popular river stop. It's the kind of place that "Joe's Crab Shack" tries to be, but without all the silly dancing.

Down 6-Mile Creek in Palmo Cove, just south of the Shands Bridge |

About 3 and a half hours north. |
| Directions |
Just before the Shands bridge, there's a large cove to the east, called Palmo Cove. Outback is about half a mile in on the south major tributary. The dock is new and 1500 feet long. Can sometimes fill up during summer weekends. |
| Docking |
Very easy. Little wind and current and plenty of dock make for easy docking. |
| Food/Drinks |
Large platters of boiled or fried seafood. Famous for crabs (obviously). Ribs and Steaks. Bottled and Draft beer (Anheuser-Busch) |
