Hi, we would like to introduce ourselves and our company, the St.Johns River Adventures.
We purchased the River Adventures houseboats on October 9th 2009, because of a lifelong love affair with the St.Johns River and Lake George area. My wife and three children have indeed been fortunate to reside alongside this river for 20+ years. For almost fifteen of those years, our family and our friends have enjoyed many trips on these houseboats as renters.
It was very thrilling for my wife, BB, and I to acquire theses boats so that we could combine our passion for exploring the St.Johns with a second career. It is an incredible way to earn a living.
It is our goal to make every trip a true Adventure by sharing the natural beauty of old Florida with you.
Once you experience the wonders of the natural flora and fauna of the river, the manatees, the alligators, the crystal clear springs, and the abundance of birdlife, you too will feel the peace and tranquility of the 'real' Florida, far from crowds and amusement parks. The opportunities for fishing ,canoeing, kayaking, swimming, photography, biking, hiking or simply exploring the 400,00 acre Ocala National Forrest are indeed endless.
